Being an engineer is about designing and creating devices, structures, and systems that can solve problems. By learning about engineering design and the various engineering disciplines, students will come to appreciate how engineers make things that have never existed before. The students will also explore the engineering feats created by many of Mother Nature's creatures such as ants, spiders, and birds. Working individually and in teams, students will be tasked each week with designing and constructing a prototype to solve an engineering problem.
This course meets on Monday PM.
*This course has an additional $75 materials fee.
