This course requires a math assessment to determine placement.
At this level, students begin to explore the meaning of multiplication and division of whole numbers, how to work with unit fractions, and the structure of a rectangular array and of an area. As students gain fluency with these concepts, students will then be challenged with learning how to work with multi-digit multiplication, division, and fraction equivalence. Finally, they will learn how to analyze geometric figures based on their properties such as having parallel sides, perpendicular sides, angle measurement, and symmetry.
Please download math placement test here and administer to your student. After your student has completed the test, please scan and return the test to firstname.lastname@example.org.
This section meets on Monday PM & Thursday PM.
*This course has an additional $75 materials fee.
