The DigiPen Game Development Academy is a challenging, multidisciplinary experience designed to teach students how to create video games using math, physics, computer science, art and animation, sound and music, and game design principles. Students are challenged to use higher order thinking and problem solving skills as they are guided through a variety of game projects. These projects require students to go beyond the academic concepts to see how they must be integrated to produce engaging experiences for players. The program culminates in a team-based project, where students will design and produce an original game.
