Throughout history, storytelling has been used as a way to express very personal feelings and experiences around the world. This course helps students explore how oral narrative, art, music, dance, film, and now interactive technology can be used by today's storytellers. Going beyond learning about story structure and story writing techniques, students will develop skills to present their story to an audience in an engaging manner. In addition, students will gain experience using a variety of media tools to share their own interactive "choose your own adventure" story.
Please note that this is a year-long course that spans two semesters and we recommend that you also enroll in Junior Cinematography as the two classes compliment each other. If you have taken this course in 2016-2017, you can take it again as it will be different material.
This course meets on Thursdays.
